The Institute of Philological Studies (Faculty of Education, Comenius University Bratislava) is pleased to host the 10th edition of the conference for PhD students. The aim of the conference is to create a forum for doctoral students to present their research in the field of philology with a focus on the didactics of foreign languages and literature, including Slovak as a foreign language, as well as on foreign languages and cultures.

The Faculty of Education is one of the largest faculties of Comenius University and one of the largest faculties of education in Slovakia. It is housed in two buildings and is located in two parts of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Institute of Philological Studies of the Faculty of Education focuses on basic and applied research in the field of linguistics, literary studies and didactics of English, German and Slovak language and literature, as well as Romance languages and literatures.
Output
Following the conference, participants will have the opportunity to submit their papers for consideration in a peer-reviewed edited volume Filologické štúdie / Studia Philologica. To submit your paper, see the section Call for Papers. A publication processing fee of approximately 30 EUR will be applied to accepted manuscripts, covering the costs of reviewing, editing, printing, and distribution.

The conference will be held on-line. MS Teams links for individual sections will be uploaded the day before the conference.

The conference is free of charge for both speakers and audience.
